The Best Heater, Humidifier, and Air Purifier All-in-One

When it comes to improving the quality of air inside your home, there are many different types of appliances that you can pick from.

Some heaters can keep your home warm, humidifiers that can add humidity to your indoors, and air purifiers responsible for freeing the air from irritants and allergens.

The issue with those is that they are all designed to do one job.

And while there’s nothing wrong with that, it would be nice if there was an all-in-one unit that could do all three.

Wouldn’t it be a dream to have a heater, humidifier, and air purifier all in one?

I can personally see how such a unit can be beneficial throughout all four seasons of the year.

But, is there an appliance like this on the market?

I will uncover that in this article, so keep reading to find out more.

Are There Air Purifier, Humidifier, and Heater Combo Units?

A unit that can purify, humidify, and heat the air sounds like a dream.

But are there any such units available on the market today?

Yes, there are, but there aren’t as many models as I would have liked.

The lack of options really does limit your choices.

Fortunately, I came across two particular units I liked, which I’ll discuss below.

With that being said, many alternative air purifier combinations are on the market today.

These include an air purifier with a heater, air purifier humidifier combo, air purifier dehumidifier combo, and more.

Don’t worry.

I’ll go through some of those after I talk about the two best all-in-one heater, humidifier, and air purifier units.

Best All-In-One Heater, Humidifier, and Air Purifier Units

During my research, I only really managed to come across two worthwhile units.

One is a budget-friendly pick, whereas the other is a bit more of a premium option, which I’ll start with.

Best Overall Heater Humidifier Air Purifier: 3-In-1 GreenTech Environmental pureHeat Air Purifier, Heater & Humidifier

As I mentioned above, there aren’t many different heater, humidifier, and air purifier combos on the market.

The best unit I came across is this 3-in-1 model by GreenTech, which is jam-packed with features.

To start, let’s talk about the design.

I’m not a massive fan of it as it looks old-fashioned and bulky, causing the appliance to weigh around 26 lbs, which is pretty heavy.

That significantly reduces its portability, and if you want to move it from room to room, you’ll likely need the help of another person.

That said, it has wheels on the bottom, which means you can just roll it if you can’t lift it.

The design is the only downside to this unit; even then, it’s not bad as it would fit the taste of many people.

When it comes to performance, all three functionalities (air purifier, heater, and humidifier) work simultaneously when the unit is on.

This means that your air is humidified and purified while your space is heated.

This unit uses Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) technology to purify the air.

In short, this technology transforms pollutants, making them no longer toxic to inhale.

It doesn’t feature a HEPA filter, a carbon-activated filter, or any other filter.

It purifies the air using the PCO technology when capturing the pollutants and dispersing them back into the room.

This destroys contaminants from air and surfaces in the room, similar to how hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria in liquid form.

In terms of heating, humidity, and purification capacity, this appliance is great for rooms of up to 1,000 feet, which is plenty for most people.

Pros:

Cons:

  • Quite heavy and not very portable

Best Runner Up Heater Humidifier Air Purifier: Envion by Boneco 4-In-1 Air Purifier, Heater, Fan & Humidifier

If you’re looking for a more affordable alternative, this Envion model by Boneco is an excellent choice.

This model has a tower design, meaning it takes much less space on the floor compared to the GreenTech model from above.

The Envision by Boneco measures just 9″ D x 25.6 “W x 10.2 “H and weighs just over 10 lbs, making it a very portable and easy-to-move-around option.

What I particularly liked about this model is that it is a 4-in-1 appliance that features an air purifier, a heater, a fan, and a humidifier.

You get all of these functionalities for under a hundred dollars. It’s a great deal.

This model is predominantly made out of plastic due to its low price point.

Meaning it’s not the most durable, but as long as you don’t drop it, it will work fine.

Another remarkable feature of this device is its air purifier location capabilities.

It can cover a room of up to 250 square feet.

It effectively purifies and cleans the air from mold, germs, bacteria, viruses, smoke, and other solids and gas particles in the air.

Lastly, this model has an intuitive control panel that allows you to set your ideal temperature and humidity.

In terms of downsides, as you can imagine, this appliance doesn’t have any automatic or smart features.

And in my opinion, that’s totally reasonable considering how affordable it is.

Pros:

  • Features a true HEPA filter
  • Lightweight and portable
  • Very affordable
  • Can circulate the air in your room 3 times in 60 minutes

Cons:

  • Not suitable for rooms larger than 250 square feet

Alternative Unit Combos You Should Consider

Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Air Purifier, Heater + Fan – Air Purifier, Heater, and Fan Combo

Dyson is arguably the leader in the industry regarding air purifiers, fans, heaters, and humidifiers.

Some people believe their unique designs are just gimmicks and an excuse to charge more for an average product.

On the other hand, some people genuinely stand by Dyson’s design concepts and appliances, calling the brand the best in the world.

But regardless of where you stand, you can’t go wrong with the Dyson Pure Hot if you’re looking for an air purifier, a heater, and a fan combo.

This unique combination allows you to use the unit throughout the year.

For example, if it’s cold out and you want your indoors heated up, simply use the heater.

On the flip side, if it’s summer and you want to keep cool, use the fan.

I personally own this unit, and it’s fantastic.

I’ve been using it for around 12 months and have zero complaints.

This model uses a true HEPA filter to purify the air, which can catch up to 99.97% of all solid particles like pollen, dust, and other irritants.

Granted, it doesn’t have a carbon-activated filter, so it won’t be able to take care of VOCs, smoke, or cooking odor.

Another cool feature is leaving this device on and forgetting about it because of its automatic functions.

So it can adjust fan speed according to the air quality and temperature inside your room.

And best of all, this appliance has a unique and futuristic design with a bladeless fan.

Not only is it sleek looking, but it’s extremely quiet even at its maximum settings.

The only noise you will hear will be the whispering sounds of the air being blasted out of the unit’s openings.

As I said above, Dyson isn’t the cheapest brand, which is true with this model.

The Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Air Purifier costs significantly more than other products with similar features.

But rest assured that if you choose this model, you will definitely pay for quality and a unit that will last you for many years.

Pros:

  • Comes with great automatic features
  • Uses a true HEPA filter
  • Can cool and heat the room
  • Connects to other smart devices via Wi-Fi
  • Modern and unique design

Cons:

  • One of the more expensive models on the market

Afloia 2 in 1 HEPA Air Purifier with Humidifier – Best Air Purifier and Humidifier Combo

If you’re not looking for a heater, then there is no reason why you should pay for a device with a built-in heater.

The best 2-in-1 air purifier with a humidifier combo I found was this model by Afloia.

It looks simple but works well and comes with features surpassing its price range.

This is one of the most affordable air purifiers you can get with a true HEPA filter.

On top of that, it has a humidifier function to improve the air quality inside your home.

With the HEPA filter, the purifier can filter out various solid particles like dust, pollen, and other pollutants that can cause asthma attacks or an irritated respiratory system.

It also has a couple of lights attached to the device to add a terrific aesthetic.

The lights include night-mode lights that help calm you before you sleep.

It even has a cool touch interface that you can use to adjust the settings.

When it comes to drawbacks, this device has a number of them.

These aren’t deal-breakers, but they’re something to keep in mind if you plan on buying this unit for yourself.

To start, it has no smart functions, which can be a hassle as you’ll have to manually adjust the device every time you want to use it.

Additionally, this air purifier can purify a room as large as 438 square feet.

So it’s not a suitable choice if you’re looking for an air purifier for a basement or a larger space.

But if you’re looking for something you can use to cleanse the air and add a bit of humidity in a dry room, this is a great option.

It’s also really affordable, giving you a fair amount of value.

Pros:

  • One of the more affordable options
  • Purifies and humidifies the air
  • Simple design
  • Has a true HEPA filter
  • Uses evaporative humidification

Cons:

  • Not ideal for huge rooms
  • No smart functions

Are Combo Air Purifiers, Heaters & Humidifiers Worth It?

Normally, you aren’t getting the best performance if you get a combo device that can act as an air purifier, humidifier, and heater.

While this is true for many models on the market, this statement isn’t true for the two all-in-one models I listed above.

So, in my opinion, as long as you buy the suitable model, a combo air purifier heater and humidifier is worth it.

How to Find the Best All-In-One Appliance?

If the recommendations above don’t suit your needs, I’ll quickly let you know about my process.

That way, you can find the best combo for your needs.

The first thing you need to consider is the combo of technology that you want your unit to feature.

Let’s say you’re looking for an appliance for the winter.

You should look for one that can work as a heater, humidifier, and air purifier.

If you’re planning on using it during the summer, consider one that works as an air purifier, fan, and humidifier.

If you want it locally before just driving around, check on google to see if any of the local stores has what you’re looking for.

Once you know what you’re looking for and some stores have it in stock, head over there and pick it up.

Or, to make your life easier, I’d recommend shopping online as you can browse far more stores quicker across the country.

Make sure to scour through the reviews and look for ones that have pictures of the device working.

That way, you can see what previous owners of the units you’re considering think about them before you spend your hard-earned money.

Once you pick one, buy it and just have it delivered.

Conclusion

While an all-in-one air purifier with a heater and humidifier sounds like a great idea, such units are pretty hard to come by.

During my research, I only managed to come across three models, and only two of them were worth it.

The units I recommended above are outstanding and worth the money.

But, if you’re not necessarily looking for that combination, there are plenty of 2-in-1 units that you can also consider.
