The mission of Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC) is to promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education. The American Lung Association (ALA) has taken action to reduce pollution that leads to asthma attacks and premature death. The organization also lobbies for stricter air pollution standards to protect health and reduce pollution from industry.
