CTA provides bus and rail transit services in Chicago and 38 nearby suburbs. Bus and rail lines are integrated to allow passengers complete access to the entire CTA service area. Many CTA bus routes and rail lines also intersect Metra commuter train lines and Pace bus routes.
CTA is the primary choice for commuters who work in the downtown area. Many use CTA express services available during rush hour periods. CTA also offers frequent rail service to O’Hare and Midway airports.
