Particulate Matters to Me!

Every time you take a breath, you are breathing in much more than just air. Each time you inhale, you expose yourself to particulate matter and ozone, both of which are hazardous to your health.  While unhealthy levels of ozone only occur on hot, sunny days, particle pollution can reach unhealthy levels on hot summer days and also during cooler weather, including winter months.

The Partners for Clean Air selected Susan Adams of Crystal Lake as the winner of the 2010 Toyota Prius hybrid at the Green Pays on Green Days grand prize drawing.  Adams was one of 50 finalists invited to a closing ceremony that took place at the Notebaert Nature Museum in Lincoln Park.  The grand prize Toyota Prius was donated by Toyota Motor Sales and Your Chicagoland Toyota Dealers.
